A Poor Man, With Rich Mans Dreams

Matthew 19:17-19:23

A Poor Man, With Rich Mans Dreams Have you ever heard the phrase, a poor man with wealthy mans dreams? Individuals in this lifetime are completely emptied by the race to riches and prosperity. Searching for today and not for tomorrow. The man has just today, placing food on the table for his loved ones, struggling to make ends meet and hoping that the telephone call he receives, isnt out of his supervisor, telling him that he no longer has a task. Ive seen many this week, loose every thing which theyve had, everything, home, furniture. The only thing that these individuals have is that the fabric on their own backs. There are approximately 195 verses in scripture about the poor. The Bible states that God, creates the wealthy and the poor. But there is no gap between them when it comes to judgments. A person dreams of a day, without debt, without fear, without any strife. He dreams sweet dreams of a day when he can rest from dreams and his labor of loved ones, babies and his spouse. The man has troubled debt, concerned about financing, and sleep, about rising interest rates and oil prices. His days are filled with stress over ideas. In Matthew 19:17 -23’s story we are shown a fantastic instance of failure to abide by the great commandment in the lawenforcement. Which to me is the best commandment of all.
Mat? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy soul, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and good commandment. Now lets look at failure to abide by this commandment. Mat 19:17-23 And he also said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
But as soon as the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples. Professional is the man that findeth wisdom. There is no demand for a poor man, who places his hope in God to stress. The man is confident in the Lord to offer him his daily needs.
Psa only makest me dwell in security.
The man is free from stress, over somebody robbing his home, his prosperity is in his own dreams and for his possessions are a couple and in his own heart, even at which no person may take.
1Sa 2:8 He raiseth up the poor from the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to cause them to inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the ground are the LORDS, and he hath set the world upon them.
The mans dreams are set on Gods promise, The meek will inherit the Earth. When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
Guru 3:19-27 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth.
With his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Don’t be afraid of sudden fear. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, as it is in the power of thine hand. The man’s cries. Job 30:25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? Was not my soul grieved for the poor?
Your stature within this lifetime does not have any effect on God and his love to you.
Psa 40:17 But I am poor and needythe Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
Yet the Lord thinketh upon meisnt this a genuine comfort to people who are poor, a dream of the Lord God almighty, sitting on a throne, creator of all, master of the universe, commander of the best army, and still in all Gods ideas, and in all Gods majesty, He has the time to think upon the poor man and his fantasies. Wonderful isnt it? Maybe you have become a people, such as the rich young ruler, individuals that have good possessions and have nothing but troubled sleeping, are we some people that hate the poor, since they remind us earlier in life, or do we hate the poor as they’re not as we are? Have we forgotten that, our possessions belong to the Lord anyhow, that those things that we exude are loaned to us to assist others, the Bible states thatwe work to give others. A poor person dreams of, Pearly Gates and streets of Gold, He fantasies of rivers of living water and also quires of Angels singing, He dreams of a tree of existence and sky of blue, He fantasies of eternal sunshine and walks on clouds of snowy. He dreams of a endless city at which his labor is thru where He won’t ever grow old, no sickness, no tears and no farewells. This is what A Poor Man means, with Rich Mans Dreams.
