Forgiveness

Among the most debated subjects around the world is forgiveness. Somebody does something incorrect, either against an individual, or contrary to the society. To forgive means to pardon the accused with no bitterness left. The action of offense is wholly forgotten, as though it never occurred, if citizenship is complete.

To talk about forgiveness is simple, and to forgive is difficult. A lot of times it becomes impossible for some of us. For example if I’m a mother. A criminal kidnaps my kid and then slowly kills my kid in my presence to derive sadistic fun, how will I feel? What about the shouts of pain of the kid that is dying? Will my thoughts ? What of this helplessness that I believed? What about the anticipation with which my kid looked and felt convinced that mother would do something to save him/her? What of this helplessness I felt? What about the memories of bringing my kid ? What about the fantasies that I had? Torture and what about the pain my child experienced while dying?

Me will haunt forever. Will bring the memories of death back like a tide. I will be overwhelmed by my sadness and I will be killed by my quiet fury from my weakness. Can I forgive that man? Could I ever forget that act after pardoning him? Will you?

This is definitely the portion of bias. It becomes impossible to forgive. The scars go so profound that even after the man is sentenced to the crime, the mother won’t ever feel complete. No quantity of punishment contributed to this man will ever bring the kid back. No clock will ever turn back. The pain the child failed can’t be taken away whatsoever.

I’m doomed to live in misery forever unless I forgive. But I cannot forgive. I know that folks would come back and ask me to forgive. What if they underwent something similar? Will they forgive?
