Short History:
Jujitsu is a 2500 year-old unarmed combat discipline with its roots in historical Japan. The precise date on the creation of the art form is difficult to follow but methods had been incorporated into the training procedures of the Samurai. Earliest Japanese historical records such as the Kojiki (Record of Ancient Matters) and the Nihon Shoki (Chronicles of Japan) have passages linked to unarmed combat methods.

When power was regained by Emperor Melse jujitsu gained prominence in the 1600s during the reign of Tokugawa but was soon alienated. However, prior to the mid-20th century, the ban on Jujitsu at Japan was lifted, after the Meiji restoration, along with the combat art form began to be widely practiced.
The Philosophy:
Jujitsu revolves round three primary states of Mushin brain Zanshin and Fudoshin. The appropriate combination of the elements gave the practitioner potential, preparation and the power to excel from the Jujitsu art.

Basic Approaches:
